Lamb's Conduit Street Festival

Friday 7 December 2007

12 noon - 7pm

People in the know wait for the fourth Lamb’s Conduit Street Festival to start the festive season.

This small, neighbourhood street in Bloomsbury is full of unique, independent traders who offer everything from vintage dresses and special gifts to one-off designer jewellery to the best quality food, fruit and veg – often locally produced.

The Festival will give visitors the chance to sample the latest eyewear for sports, hand-made handbags, art books, story books, bespoke perfume, hair and beauty ideas and unusual fashion. There are bikes and face painting, a Santa’s grotto and music, old fashioned games and the well-loved ‘Undertaker’s Games’.

Bargains, sample sales, lucky dips and raffles will give everyone a chance to ‘Sample the Street’; and food promotions, winter BBQ, mulled wine and alcoholic smoothies will supply the energy. London’s best soul, funk, Reggie, and Jazz DJs will play the Synphonic stage.

Lamb’s Conduit Street is known not just across London but across the country – but wherever visitors travel from, the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars welcome them as a friend and neighbour.
